Villa Uranos

Villa Uranos stands as one of the five independent villas within the Creta Nova holiday resident complex. Located merely 400 meters from the heart of Georgioupolis and a short 350 meters from the nearest beach, this villa sits at the village’s edge – close enough to embrace modern conveniences yet distant enough to escape the clamor. Everything is within walking distance, eliminating the need for a car.

The villa boasts a generously sized lawned backyard, featuring a 25 sqm private swimming pool with umbrellas and sun loungers for leisurely sunbathing. A small children’s playground is thoughtfully included for our younger guests. Additionally, a BBQ area, a comfortable seating arrangement, and a dining set are nestled under the shady pergola.

The ground floor of this elegantly adorned villa houses a double-bed bedroom, a bathroom, an open-space kitchen, a living room, and a dining room – all seamlessly connected to the backyard. Ascending to the first floor reveals two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, sharing a well-appointed bathroom. Each room is equipped with A/C units for added comfort.

The lush lawned area, complemented by palm trees and the inviting pool, creates an idyllic setting for a relaxing holiday. Whether you seek camaraderie or privacy, spending your day by the pool or enjoying a BBQ with friends and family is effortlessly accommodated.

Georgioupolis is situated at the apex of Almyros Bay on the Sea of Crete, bordered by Cape Drapano and its rocky coast to the north and Rethymno to the east, just 25km away. The village is uniquely characterized by three small rivers that gracefully meet the sea. The largest among them, named Almyros, forms a petite harbor accommodating both fishing and tourist boats.

With its expansive sandy beach, Georgioupolis invites you to indulge in various water sports while basking in the warm Greek sun. The village entrance, accessed through the old road, unfolds along a lengthy avenue adorned with Eucalyptus trees.
